hey, just thinking about buying a new network card to help keep ping low in servers that are further away and all, will it help ping stay low? and what net work cards do you reccomend? thanks

A new network card, as long as it's 10/100 or even 10/100/1000 will help, but not much unless the computer you're adding it to is really outdated, meaning the integrated NIC actually slows things down. you'll maybe see a 5-10 MS change in your ping times at MAX

Might want to check your current network speeds and internet connection speeds. If it's the internet slowing you down a new NIC won't be the fix. You can Google a few internet speed check sites that run a speed test.
