Don't buy the cheapest ones. Try D-Link or Linksys.

would you suggest using one? my only concern is it giving me high ping and disconnecting a lot. does anyone use one out there and how does it perform?

I do not recommend wireless equipment unless you know how to secure your network.

Since my wireless router blew out I had a spare router and an wireless acess point.I play Gmod on my laptop with wireless

im just worried if i get an adapter for my desk top will i get good enough performance to play cs with it. the wireless router will be down stairs and though 1 or 2 walls and < 50 ft away. im just not sure if its worth it or if i should try and figure something else out. i also have the linksys g router, should i get the cooresponding g wireless linksys g adapter?
