Default Firewall disabling problem

I don't know where else to type this so *shrugs* I hope it's fine here.

Anyway, I'll get to the point... one of my programs does not want to work properly because it's detecting a firewall. However, I have no idea what it's detecting. I already took down the ones that I know which are: McAfee Firewall, Windows Firewall and Router Firewall.

Is there any other firewall that I could possibly have which I don't know about? Is there any program that i could download which tells me?

Thanks in advance for all the help anyone is able and willing to offer!

Make sure the Windows one is off, sometimes it resets itself after a restart. Mcafee should only have the one and that's easy to disable, but it's better to tell it to allow the program. There's many layers to the router fw. Might want to read the manual on it to see what they have as well as how to fully disable it.

Yeah, I'm thinking I need to call D-Link's Customer Service. I <3 their Customer Service. They're very nice, knowledgeable and polite.

As for the McAfee, have you uninstalled it?

If so, you need to use their uninstaller clean up tool to get rid of the remnants, it doesn't uninstall cleanly.

How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee consumer products using the McAfee Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR.exe)

Not compatible with Windows 98 or ME, must be used after uninstalling through Add/Remove programs.

You really should be using a good firewall, I use Comodo and it works just fine with CS if it's in training mode.

Free Firewall Software Download by Comodo

You can check Matousec - Transparent security: Security software testing, analyses, research and reviews. for firewall leak testing.

Noooo I don't want to uninstall it. Lol... There's a reason why I have all 3 up and not disabled (usually).

I just wanted to disable it for a few minutes.

Thanks for the help anyway.
