I wonder if anybody would like to know how to really fool someone on CS:S?
Not just CS:S, but indeed any Steam game you want. Now, I'm sure you all know about Steam accounts being banned from multiplayer games on that account. This may come from the likes of dodgey textures, an AWP Crosshair, or something that will make a weapon more powerful. In a nutshell, anything that gives you an advantage over other players will get you banned from VAC (Valve Anti Cheat) Ok this sounds like it is turning out to be some sort of help topic, but no. I felt I had to give you a breif description of what I was about to tell you about there. Okay. I am not allowed to post links on here yet so I will do my best to avoid it. Go on to Google and type in "fake mailer" without the quots, and hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button instead of the regular Google search button. The I'm feeling Lucky button is just Google doing it's best to find the site you want without you looking through masses to search pages. Anyways, hit I'm Feeling Lucky, and you should get fakemailer.net. This is a free online tool that will allow you to send free annonymous email from any address you want. So, here is the FUN part. Enter this into the appropriate fileds: ================================================== ======================== Recipient's Email: Type in here the email of the person you want to scare. Sender's Email: Type in here an email address from which you want to send the message. In this example I will be using support@steampowered.com Your Email: Self Explanitory Message Subject: Self Explanitory Message Body: STEAM User, we are contacting you to inform you of a violation of the STEAM Subscribor Aggreement. Earlier in the week when you were playing Counter-Strike: Source, a STEAM VAC BOT (SVB) picked up traces of your STEAM ID (STEAM_0:0:13099837) violating the terms laid out in the STEAM Terms and Conditions. Due to this violation, your account is hereby banned until further notice. You can still play all your games, but you cannot play multiplayer games on a VAC-Secured Game Server. STEAM Support Team. ================================================== ======================== Yeah, it sure is good to do this stuff to your friends. Hope this post helps people have fun. -Delta ![]()

A couple of changes are neccesary in my thread's first post.
1. I put the Message Subject to be "Self Explanitory." This should not be the case. Please put instead of making up your own one something like: Urgent notification regarding STEAM Terms violation! Obviously, if you feel you can do better, you are very welcome to do so and put it in your message subject. 2. I doubt there is actually such a thing as a SVB really, it is kind of stupid. And also, I really do not think that Steam would put just "STEAM Support Team" at the bottom. Instead, put something like "STEAM Support Team: This message has been logged at (The Time You Send The Message At) for evidence."
