hi i m new to this forum i have a question for all the users does server graphic card has any impact on client's machine.
I know its a strange question but i have experience something like that we have 10 machine all are different in configuration one of my friend has make server on his machine he has a much more higher configuration than ours. We have played the same map with others making server there is a difference in cloud color and the brightness of the map so i want to is it possible if yes than what is the logic or reason behind it. |

No, the server graphics card has no impact whatsoever. The graphics card isn't used when running a game server, the two main things that will affect the server is the CPU and Memory. All the server is doing is receiving, processing, and sending data, it isn't outputting any graphics. The only time your graphics card is used is on a local machine, specifically when something is being displayed on the monitor.
If you have two computers with the same CPU, Memory, Motherboard... everything, the only difference being one is using a 512 MB gfx card, and the other doesn't have one, they will run the exact same |
