Unhappy help... error message: "Internal Driver Error in IDirect3dDevice9 ::Present()"

Hey guys this is my first post here i hope some of you can help me

Ok so a few days ago my css was fine and now today i keep getting this error when i wanna join a server.

"Internal Driver Error in IDirect3dDevice9 ::Present()"

BRO SAME HERE!!! arrrghhhh i hate that shit, i get it all the time, i also get that error when i play day of defeat and half life 2 dm. Sometimes i get that error and the blue screen of death saying something about some missing driver thing. I installed the latest drivers when i first got it and it ran fine for a sec and then it started crashing (getting the blue screen of death) so i uninstalled it and then it would crash the same way. I have a similar problem when playing Counter Strike Source.

yeah man but you think someone has an answer to that problem, cuz godamn im so mad, i think it has to do with something with vid card drivers cuz i was using a ATi onboard, well ima get a new card and im going to see if i can play it.

dude i hate that for me its like when i try to play like a CS or DE map or someother maps, all these lines pop up and go to the side. after 5 seconds it says "Internal Driver Error in IDirect3dDevice9 ::Present()" i hate it! yesterday all those maps worked for me, but today im haveing that problem, i wish someone would just anwser your question.

try installing an older catalyst. like 4.12.

hey i had the same problem. It is a driver problem im 100% sure. try to install the corect driver and have the right updatd verison of directx. Also, if your computer came with vista but you downgraded to xp that might make your drivers all messed up. When i reninstalled vista everything worked fine.
