Default Very Dissapointed and Outraged.

My dealings with c-s.com are as follows. Two weeks ago I tried to purchase a server and I was told "Credit Card Invalid" which I thought was odd, but i decided, alright, I'll just take my business elsewhere and I went and purchased from a rival company (which i've been very satisfied with). Two weeks go by and I received my VISA statement only to find that I've been charged for a server. I contact support and they tell me that they sent me e-mails saying that my server had been set up, (I check my junk filter history and my inbox history and have no record of these incoming emails).
Why was my server set up when it claimed that my VISA had been denied? I don't know.
Why did they bill my VISA after saying that it had been denied? I don't know.
I try to ask for a full refund because, in effect, all that happened was that this server company STOLE my money. The support admins dance around the question only responding, "we sent you your email 2 weeks ago." They do not respond in any way, shape, or form about my requests for a refund until many e-mails later saying that I only have the options to keep the server or cancel it before next billing; WHAT SERVER? The server that you set up for me without my knowledge and wrongfully billed me for?
I am extremely upset with this company. They stole my money. Their customer service was not helpful at all and seemed to shy away from answering the real requests.
I will never again deal with this company or any of its affiliates and I will notify all of my friends to do the same.
Not only have I lost faith in this company, but in basic human decency.

You mean to tell me you never log into your card company to check balances? I myself never trust the messages, I always make sure they didn't go ahead and charge me anyways. Have you tried to contact your card issuer and have them cancel the charge?

I actually checked it online, I have been meaning to set up online banking for some time but never gotten around to it until yesterday and thats when I saw this charge.
I was hoping I wouldn't need to contact my card company to cancel the charge. I was hoping that c-s.com would recognize their mistake and rectify it with a full refund. But they would rather take my monthly payment and have me jump through hoops than have a satisfied customer.

You were sent your account information immediately after you signed up. That should indicate to anyone that their card had been charged. You could also simply check your card. You've had your account for almost an entire month. You received the service that you signed up for.

I have to agree with Pete. Every server I have gotten, every server friends have gotten, and every server others I know have gotten their server set up emails all with in 1 hour of the payment going through. It sounds to me that you have you email set up to not only block but delete what it sees as junk mail. I had the same thing happen with my first server here with my MSN account as well as hearing that Yahoo accounts are the same way with CS.com emails. IDK, maybe it's just that I have been doing this for many years now and am used to this happening. I check my accounts daily so this almost never happens. Let this be a lesson, check your balances and account summaries often. Good luck with your other server.

It's your own fault for not paying attention to the fact that you were charged for something before you went and bought it again.
