Default connection problem

Hi,

I need help.

On my PC when I tried to find Counter strike Source servers, I got a could not connect to master game server.
On this machine my friend can connect with his own account. So it is not a firewall, router or something problem.

I can see the servers, if i login with my account on a different machine. So my account is alive.

How can I figure what is the problem on my PC with my account?

reinstall did not help...

Pleas, help me!

Thanks

Balage

exit steam

shift-delete the folder with your account name in steam, since reinstall just keeps all that info saved

also delete clientregistry.blob located in the main steamfolder

then connect again with your account

let me know if this helped

my account directory was deleted
the client... file was deleted
steam was started

MASTER SERVER WAS NOT FOUND

One more interesting thing. During 1001 reinstall of steam (from Source DVD, from CS DVD, from downloaded msi) I had to realize that, I can only instal the steam into D:\Steam directory. When I gave different location (for example into the default C:\Programfiles\...), the install was unsuccessful ?!? After installing steam into different location, it was not able to start, because it did not find some dll file.

I unistalled and deleted everything before installation (registry too), but it wanted to live only in D:\Steam.

So, Is there any different idea?

Of course I have full admin rights for everything on my PC.
C:\Program... directori was a sample. I cannot able to install Steam to D:\Valve\Statem or to E:\Valve_Steam or to somewhere else, just only to D:\Steam.

I searched and deleted all registry keywords which are contained Steam or Valve or Strike worlds, and deleted all directories like these.

I don't understand, where and how can be stored this f*king D:\Steam information/restriction stored.

But this is one problem.

It can or cannot be related to my another, main problem...
