Hi there, this is my first time posting, and i hope somebody will be able to help me with my conundrum!
Ok, tonight i played in a CS:S server, im fairly certain it was modded, because partway through the match.. music started playing, it was a rap about cs - not a particular fan of rap music, but i liked it anyway... nobody on the server would lead me to where i could find this song on the outside, and i havent had any luck finding it on any of the various search engines so far.. anyways the question! does cs cache these sorts of files? if so, please tell me where!! i tried simply searching for *.mp3 and *.wav files in the steam folder, but to no avail. i lost the server when i closed cs (favorites didnt save it, weird) so you guys are kinda my last hope for this song, any help is much appreciated thanks in advanced! The file should be stored on your PC locally at cstrike\sound\admin_plugin . From there, it would be up to you check which sound file (mostly in wav format) is the one you're looking for (there might be a lot, or a little, depending on how much you've downloaded over your usage time).
One thing though, the quality won't be the best. It will be in 44Khz frequency and in wav, so it's not CD like. |
