I recently bought CS source but it runs slow and skips even when i play by myself with just one bot. I don't have a graphics card. Should i get one and if i do should i go ahead and buy one for like $200 or just get one for like $60. If there is anything i can do besides get a graphics card tell me.

For gfx cards:
The Best Gaming Graphics Cards for the Money: December 2006 | Tom's Hardware You should be able to find your answers there. However note that it depends on the entire computer (not one single part) whether the game will run smooth or not. What are you other system specifications at this moment?

its a hard choice...if you get one know, you either should go all-out or get a super shitty one...since windows vista is just around the corner you will then be running into dx10
i have the 8800, its beautiful! |

You should be able to disable the video card in your BIOS and put in a better one. On some motherboards, you don't even need to disable the onboard video in BIOS, they will just default to the one that is not onboard.
