Trouble adding favorite servers etc.

Don't mean to sound like an idoit, but...

Seem to not be able to add servers to favorites tab in CS:S.
Have added them periodically and they no longer exist after restarting STEAM or reboot.

2 questions.
1) What seems to be trick.
2) Am I the only one with this problem.

Now for the etc.
None of the servers in my CS:S "Find Servers" list display the VAC icon.
Is this due to the power outage problem?

Genuine responses without smartass comments would be appreciated.
If I needed harrassment, I'd ask the neighboorhood kids for help, but I assume that we can be somewhat adult about this.

I have the same problem: add a server to my Favorites, only for it to never show up at all, EVER! Despite it still showing up (after refresh) on my Search tab. Other times (when the moon turns blue outside) some of the servers pop up.

I never knew why (nor cared to search for a reason), but took it as another flaw with Steam.

Go figure.

Make sure your Main Internet Servers and your Favorites are set up the same.
As where you would change filters at. Button down below...
