Frustrated: Hacker and Cheaters

I have only been playing CS-Source for a few months, but have already heard the chatter, and been a victim of Hackers and Cheaters who manage to subvert, get around the "Anti-Cheating" software.

It is my opinion, that there should be servers, dedicated to those who like to Cheat and Hack, so that 1) They would leave the rest of us players alone. 2) They could compete at a different level, that is: "Lets see who can out cheat the cheaters."

I am sure you have all felt like this at some point. Come Home from a long day at work, or school, and would like to chill out and play a few rounds of CS. You log on, join a server/game, only to spend the next 15-30 min being Shoot through Objects, that shouldn't be shoot thru, or be taken out by an opponent, who seems to know where everyone is.

Cheaters can be frustrating. I hear a lot of people say that cheating is "out of control" in CS. I rarely run into hackers on servers, maybe once a week or so. I feel that a lot of people are quick to call a person a hacker, maybe because they were shot through a door, or a tree, or just by looking at someone's score. Keep in mind, players who've been playing a long time acquire a game sense, and use sound, so it may seem like they know where everyone is.

Don't be so quick to judge, and if they are in fact cheating, there's thousands of servers out there

QFT. way to many players are too paranoid about people hacking. i run into actual hackers maybe once every 1-2 weeks. stop joining stupid pubs and you'll be fine.

also, there are servers dedicated to hacking that are nonvacced. but the reason hackers don't use these servers is because half of the fun in hacking is ruining others peoples fun.

Yeah, paranoia is another issue. When a few friends and myself "raid" other clan's pub servers, we often get accused of cheating, simply because of score/shots landed; I say all the hacker-paranoid players should, before pointing a finger, join spectator and just watch.

I honestly don't think there are as many cheaters out there as people claim, VAC2 is doing a nice job keeping them at bay.

EDIT: But, oh god, when you do run into hackers, 'makes you want to rip your hair out. I LOVE when I kill hackers though... >:3

Ye killing hackers if ****ing hilarious. But ye i always spec people before accusing them (which i rarely do). More often than not its just ****s accusing people cos they're better than them. Many a times have a had people scream hacker at me and my teamates when we pub.

Yah, hs'ing an aimbotter always makes me smile ( It's been a while though o.o'' )



I'm gonna work the nightshift a couple days next week, we should def game again sometime like the other day!
