i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find some help modding the muzzle flashes in CS:S i dont want to make any "illegal" changes i just want some help changing the effect, already know how to change the bitmap (sprite) (muzzleflashX etc) but i wanted to change the duration of the intensity of the muzzle flash like in CS 1.6 the flash is very quick, large and bright but in source it's quite dull and not very intense.

i think it's something to do with the vmt files but i couldnt find much info on the make up of the muzzle flash FX

As soon as you edit your muzzleflash it makes it illegal in league games.

try fpsbanana.c0m (change the 0 for a o)
i think they have some mods for it
