Any way to disable automatic reload?

I have not found a way to configure this in the game, so I wonder if this is possible with a script. Maybe it's already made, so please tell me. My idea is to disable the automatic reload when you run out of ammo. It would be cool to force the user to use his reload key when his magazine is empty. When you are in the middle of a shooting and the magazine is empty, you just hear the click, so time to reload!
