Default Graphics Lag

I downloaded CS:S on my father's computer yesterday, and started playing it. However, I was getting this weird lag. It was like I was only seeing 1/3 of the frames that I should be seeing, so everything was erratic and jumpy, but it was constant. When I consulted my friend, he confirmed my fear, it was graphics lag.

So I ran dxdiag and found out what graphics card I have, and went to the company's webpage to download the newest driver for my card.

The problem hasn't changed. So here I am. I will list the specs that dxdiag says, and if ANY of you can help me figure out where the problem area is, I would be very grateful. Here goes:

Your dads computer doesn't meed the minimum requirement of counter-strike source. You need to upgrade from an integrated graphics card to an actual one. You can pick one up good enough to run CS:S on a site like newegg.com for probably $50-100.

Okay, but I was always fully capable of playing World of Warcraft without this kind of lag, and now it's affecting everything. Did I mess something up when I updated the driver?

Your system needs the requirements of WoW. If its just lag with CSS, then its your computer. If all the sudden everything is laggy it could have been a problem with a driver update.
