How do i become Admin on Mani Mod!

O.K. so heres the deal, when i click my binded key "v" to admin it comes up with "you are not an admin" every time. I need help becoming an admin so i can play quake sounds. Now before you reply, everytime i ask help with this someone always says i should check out this documentation on Mani or whatever the hell the name is and it CLEARLY DOES NOT HELP MY PROBLEM unless somehow i missed something which i HIGHLY doubt. So do not reply with that bs and if i've missed something in that damned documentation that would help me become admin PLEASE PLEASE prove me wrong because all i want is to become admin. And also, if you have any advice on becoming admin on a LAN server try becoming a admin on your own LAN and then see if it will work. I've tried adding my Steam id to adminlist.txt and my reverse flags in autoexec.cfg are set to 0. I'm sorry if i've expressed anger and frustration in this thread but i've been working for weeks trying to set this up on my LAN server with no luck at all. I mean, something like this should be fast and simple, if they made some kind of configuration for only online servers and not LAN i would be very very disappointed. Any info besides the advice for checking that documentation is greatly appreciative from all who reply. Please help me become admin. Thanks, h4x!

I think I'm correct in thinking you want to become admin on your online server?

If this is the case, check your password in the Main Server Config File (under Default Config Files):

// Set the rcon Passsword
rcon_password "yourpass"

Now when on your server, type:

bind X "rcon_password yourpass"

X being an example key. Now, everytime you connect to your server, press this key. You should now be able to access admin on your server. Works for me, but I'm not sure about the mod you're using. If you need any help I would advise you open a support ticket, if you are with Counter-Strike.com that is.
You may need to reconnect before being able to use your new bind.
You will need to restart your server after setting a new password.

I do not know about becoming a LAN administrator, but I would imagine it is the same method.

goto your cstrike folder an the path sould like something like this.

cstrike/cfg/mani_admin_plugin/adminlist.txt

At the bottom place your STEAM ID


STEAM_0:0:1234567


Then restart your server , you should be good togo...
