Might run, but I doubt it will run good. A desktop is vital for gaming, laptops fail in the gaming world. Sorry it's not what you want to hear, but I tell it straight.

Here's mine, and I hope that Windows 7 will not require any hardware changes for CS:S:
CPU: AMD Phenom x4 9550 on ASUS M3N78 PRO mobo RAM: 6 GB (2 x 2GB, 2 x 1GB) DDR2-800 PC6400 HDD: 640GB WD Caviar SATA DVD: LG 20x LightScribe w/ SecuriDisc GPU: eVGA 9800GTX+ OS: Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 (I believe that they recently updated it a week or two ago) Needless to say, I hope that upgrading from Vista to 7 won't change the hardware I need now to make CS:S run smoother. |

Well, I'm gonna try and update my hardware around Windows 7 soon... Just got some parts a few weeks ago to make sure I get CS:S into the DX11 era. Here's my new spec as of the time I get things going:
Antec 900 Case Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3H AM3 Phenom II 955 Black Edition 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM Corsair HX620W Modular PSU HDD: The 640GB and an additional 500GB HDD 8x Blu-ray Burner GPU: Sapphire HD5850 OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Hopefully a build like this will last a lot longer for the upcoming gneration of games, heck, if there's even a new version of CS coming out down the road, I definitely think my rig will be able to welcome it with open arms.
