big problem,odd aswell!

I cannot change the start money!!
i did the console command
mp_startmoney ##
but that wont work,changing it in the server options didnt work neither
is there some other way to change it? perhaps via editing a file where these options are listed?

neither rcon, or mani can change this stupid command.
