I've never played CSS or CS, so i wanted to know how can i try it before (eventually) buy it. Is there any demos i can try? I have to buy it to try it?

There are not any demo's that I know of. But honestly, neither game is expensive, and there are millions of people who plays theses game, i doubt you won't like them if you like any first person shooter.
