nade-to-instant headshot?

Ok, this started happening a couple updates ago, probably a couple months now. This is how it always happens:

I come around a corner and I see an enemy in the middle of throwing a nade, when instantly in the middle of the throw, before he completes it, he instantly switches to weapon and one shot headshots me. This all takes so fast I can rarely get a shot off, and it's always a one shot headshot, never a wound or a miss.

This isn't any script that can cancel a nade throw then bring up a primary weapon, it happens way to fast, the split second I see the nade throw, before you can react, the primary weapon is out, the shot is fired and I am dead.

This has happened to me atleast a dozen times now and the sequence is to exact to be a fluke. At first I thought it was a hack, but it has happened on several servers and some of the guys I play with all the time and know they don't hack.

I suspect the game engine is screwing up and showing a false nade throw when really the guy just gets off a really fast one shot headshot. Unforetunately I have always forgotten to ask the guy that killed me if he was throwing a nade before he fired the kill shot.

Anyone else had this happen?

Also happens a lot at spawn, you look at the players around you when you respawn and one of them ususally does a nade half-throw.

And client side animations = baaaad. Well it may be good if your net connection ain't that great but... type +showbudget in console when playing you will see "client animation" is what is taking up the most cpu cycles (thus the fps drop in large fights).

I've seen this a bunch of times aswell.. I Think its just a graphics glitch they arent really throwing a nade

I think that Gunzilla is right.
Its just a little glitch where theres a little lag after teh through so you think they just threw it
but they actually threw it 2 seconds ago.
This has also happened to me various times!
