Ok so I added it, works fine. The server was getting some lag spikes with the GG5 install and cfg you have. Well I fixed that. It seems that the servers hate the autoexec.cfg edit your installer says to edit with the es_load gungame. The best way, and the way I normally load a script, is to drop that right into the server.cfg folder. This allows us to use custom cfg's for each map so if someone wants to scrim on the server the CAL maps can load without the GG mod loaded and what not. I would suggest ALL GG5 users to add these to the server.cfg:
//Loads Gungame es_load gungame //Unloads Gungame //es_unload gungame I do both so you can use the same cfg for all the individual map cfg's and just remove the "//" from the command line you want to activate or to deactivate the command add the "//". Posted to GG5's staff/boards/error report system: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Editing the autoexec.cfg to have the es_load gungame code. 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? No lag. If the atuoexec.cfg has the code "es_load gungame" it has lag spikes, no other mods installed except Mani, Meta:S, and ES. No other ES scripts are running and I am the only player, also this happens on any map, some just crash. What version of GunGame are you using? GG 5, Loaded from the Counter-strike.com auto loader. Does this only happen when certain addons are used? If so, which addons? Nope. does this with any setup. What is your server's operating system? Windows, I do not know the version List all your mods, plugins, addons, etc. you have running on your server. 1. ManiMod 1.2BetaS 2. MetaMod v1.4.3.656 3. ES v2.0.0.250 (Only GG5 is active.) Please provide any additional information below. If the es_load gungame is placed in the server.cfg and not the autoexec.cfg there is no lag. This is how I run all the es loads in my other servers, but was asked to place it in the AE.cfg file by CS.com. The server runs fine my way but I was asked by Pete and the CS.com staff to post here. As far as I am concerned it's fixed, but others might have this happen. I posted about this issue on the CS.com forums. Your error log MUST be attached or your issue report will be closed. Are there any reported problems with MiniStats? Do I only need ES, not ES_Tools? I try running this using Mani, by adding es_load gungame into the rconlist.txt, any reported problems with this? 'Cause my server started disconnecting everyone, every 1 minute :P
