Counter Strike Dedicated Server Q's
Hello all,
I have recently created my own server and have a couple of questions... 1. How can I create a welcome screen with rules and stuff? 2. How can I keep the server running 24/7. I have to turn of my pc and in doing so the server gets shut down. 3. How can I change rules like having 16000 every round or restricting some items. Thnank you in advance  |

It's called the MOTD, Message of the Day. You can use Notepad to edit it and then load it to your server. It can use HTML or simple text if you don't want/need anything special.
If the server is running on your home PC and you have to turn it off at night you're just s**t outta luck, try renting a server. If you go to your Counter-Strike/cstrike/cfg/server.cfg file you will be able to edit all the game variables.
