Cs 1.6 resolution change

I have a problem, when I changed my cs resolution to bigger my screen turn black and text appears in the screen " not supported" or somthn like that, and it happens every time i press cs icon! So I need to know how to change resolution without going to game, maybe i can change somewhere in the files of cs?!?!! I beg you answer me ASAP tournament is waiting for me ! ;D

vid_config_x 800 sets horizontal screen resolution
vid_config_y 600 sets vertical screen resolution

you might need to create a userconfig.cfg and than add a exec userconfig.cfg to config.cfg

tho this might not work, i have not tested it as I'm at work, but u seem inpacient so there u go

thats all the list, see u find something that might help you, i suggest doing a CTRL+F and look for "resolution" or "screen resolution" you might find some things.

Solution:

Download teamviever3 and ask youre friend to go to youre game ang change the resolutiuon. Till I figured it out :S Thanks anyway.
