lagy mouse

Hello

I bought CS 1.6 from steampowered.com

But now i have problems with my mouse, if i play than somethimes my mouse respond very slowly or not even respond this happends around every 10 seconds. I have cleaned my mouse and tried three different mouses but that did not helped.

This problem only occur in CS 1.6 and not in windows. I already tried the Logitech mouse driver but that did nothing.

At last i have reinstalled CS 1.6. I downloaded CS 1.6 again with steam. But when i started the new installation the setting where exactly the same as the old installation. So i think nothing chanced with this.

Someone know why i have this lagy mouse in CS 1.6?

are you sure its the mouse ?
are you running any other background processes that could possibly slow down the game to a "laggy" feel?
some anti-virus/firewalls also lag the game down.

so it might not be the mouse after all..

The game is not lagy, only the mouse is lagy. And i just use the Windows firewall

When you say.. " I have cleaned my mouse " do you have a ball mouse? or optical?
if so, have you tried any optical mice ?

did you mess with any of the rates in your console ?

if its USB you probably didnt install the drivers correctly or didn't install them at all. Try reinstalling them. if its a ball mouse clean the ball and inside of the mouse off that should help.

I have a optical mouse. And i installed the logitech mice drivers. That driver worked but it did not solved the lag mouse problems in CS 1.6

I have re-installed counterstrike 1.6 and steam but it did not work.
