Hey guys,
First off I'm a 21 year old college student running my own successful business. I played Counter-strike for about 4 years, from 12-16 years old. I even ran my own 24 person server with my clan for about 1 year. I have not been back since. I'm thinking about playing a little more as the business is settling down, I have more free time (forced to be in the house, however) and Halo is boring as shit. My biggest concern is the versions...how big is the CS 1.6 community? I don't like CS:CZ or anything else - I want to play CS 1.6 Is there still a large crowd playing 1.6? Does it make sense still to buy your own server for fun or are there not enough players? I appreciate any insight! Nick |

I play cs 1.6 and the community is still extremely big. I came back to cs after a 3 year break and i think that the community grew a huge amount even though cs:s and cs:z are out there to.
