Commands?

Hi,

I am looking for two commands in CS. I don't know about the 2nd, but I know the first exists.
What's the command for all text in CS disappears? Both the chat text and the auto-pop-up-text that comes when you like throw a nade?


The 2nd command I'm looking for, is when you kill or get killed, your name comes up on the right corner of the screen, and says: player1 killed player2 with the AK . Is there a command to make that disappear as well ?

Are you trying to record someting?

Try "r_drawvgui 0"

I'm not by my PC, so I can't test it out for you. I think sv_cheats need to be enabled for some of the gui removal commands... Try that and tell me what you get, and later tonight, I'll try to get the other command/s

I haven't tryed "r_drawvgui 0" yet... but it could be a lot easier if you just told me what it does... so I don't have to look for anything unusual.

I like the cvar list, altought the command I'm looking for is CS 1.6 , but I think both games have same commands... or most of them are the same.


Still hoping anyone knows about the command or any solution for my first post.

removes the gui ( Graphic User Interface ), I'm sure it takes off some of the text.

There are other similar commands that I've used in the past, but, for the life of me, I can't remember. I'm at work, juggling some stuff around over here, kinda busy, but I'll take a look at the list for you when I have some downtime.

Like there's one to remove the little crosshair when in spectator mode, and others... I just don't remember them. I made a really stupid movie a while ago and had to look them up.....

try:
mat_crosshair 0
cl_radaralpha 0

After you do these, let me know what is still coming up that you want to get rid of
