super duper slump

Before christmas, I was playing with a microsoft 1.1, no mouse pad and acceleration. I've switched to top mouse Razer DeathAdder, Mousepad and all acceleration off(cpl,cs command,razer,..). Is it normal that i'm in a big slump? Something wrong with me or just normal with such drastic change?

A few things:

-Everyone has their slumps, I've run through crazy ups and downs in the past. You'll crawl out of it eventually.
-When switching mice, even significantly more advanced mice ( btw i <3 my deathadder, I picked it up a few weeks ago ), you'll have to go through an adjustment period, this can take a few days to a couple weeks.

When I got my deathadder, I noticed an immediate increase in accuracy and kd:r; the thing is though, I was previously using an MX518 at 1800cpi ( I say CPI=Counts per inch is more accurate than DPI when it comes to mice ), and the deathadder is also using 1800 cpi. I think the 1.1 is a 400dpi mouse, so your new mouse is in theory more than 4 times faster than your old mouse.

Check this out, it's a quote from one of my favorite CS reads:

The reason why you perhaps haven't used the highest resolution of the mouse is because you found a sensitivity that you like and don't want to mess it up by making the mouse faster. Here is a formula for calculating what your new in-game sensitivity should be when you switch dpi settings:

[(Current dpi) x (In-game sensitivity)] / (Maximum dpi) = (New Sensitivity for max dpi)

I'm guessing your old mouse was 400"dpi", your new deathadder is at 1800. Plug in the values, and use your old in-game sensitivity, and see what it comes out to. It should seem more like your old mouse ( but more precise, the deathadder is awessssome )

So it should look like this :

[ (400) x (Current sensitivity) ] / (1800) = (Your new sensitivity)

yeah probably :P. I was aim training everyday with my 1.1 and I was having 75% HS all the time. It was insane. So I should be able to go up to 80-90% loll

I've also switch to CPL mouse fix, and no acceleration cmd in CS. I don't why but I was getting strange thing in CS with my deathadder until I did that

80-90 is haxor status o.o!

I usually keep up about a 59% hs rate, but I use the awp religiously, so that doesnt count :-X

Lol I use my G15 keyboard to keep track of my kills haha

I've heard some strange stories from people who use the CPL fix.. I find that the launch commands for CS:S are just fine enough.

If your "weirdness" still continues, try getting rid of the CPL fix.. I never installed it, never really trusted something like that.

EDIT: Were you using the no-acceleration commands in CS BEFORE you got the deathadder?
