i recently bought and installed 1.6 and condition zero. In 1.6 i can't see any text at all all i see is some werid symbols and sometimes its just blank.

Mine does that sometimes also. I just use the scroll bar and it comes back up with my servers. Just delete the local game content from your steam game list.

Steam Game List > Right Click CS 1.6 > Delete Local Game Content > Recoonect to Steam.

That should make things clear.

i am sure thats caused by your vedio card setting .
because i had the same problem some years ago.
try to cancel any vedio card setting you have done.

Thanks guy for the suggestions but i deleted and reinstalled CS and i still cant see text . I havnt changed any of my graphic card settings there all at the defaults.

well just restart steam and if it doesnt work reinstall steam...
