Hello,

I just started playing cs 1.6 again and have been having an annoying problem. While playing sometimes, my game will just freeze(start stuttering *example* someone can say something on the mic like "apples" and it will just repeat "apples" a few times) then crash to the desktop. Heat isn't a problem fyi. This will happen after about 5 minutes of playing. Anyone had this problem before? Is it a sound issue? Thanks.

Ths could be pretty much anything. It could be a problem with your Counter-Strike game itself that you may need to reinstall to fix or it could even be your sound drivers causing this problem and you may need to make sure you have the latest drivers for your sound card installed.

Ya, pete could be right if you dont know were to get your sound drivers if thats the problem try going into voice options and uncheck the box saying enable voice in this game.

i got the same problem, cept with cs-cz, i would just freeze, some times on words like "un splakablable" and it would keep repeating un splakablable over and over, then it would crash. But its not always during a noise, so i dont thinks it a problem w/ noise. Im going to try reinstalling.
