HELP! i have change my cs setting to OpenGL on highest resolution, but... when it loads, loading never finished! oh no! so i cant change my settings again... but, i can play in D3D on 800X600!?!?!??! NO LAG!.... please help how to change setting from my directory........

my game crashes suddenly when I join a server like if someone is saying wats up guyz...it will be lke wats.wats.wats...it will just repeat the same word. then it will crash.

PLZ HELP

pls can someone help me??
I tried to change my nickname
I went to options/multiplayer and I changed it to ''Kaiserus''
I clicked on apply and everything seemed allright
then when I got out of the options menu and went back
the nickname that I had before ''the trooper'' was again there!!!
pls I am desperate!!

Go into console and type in "name Kaiserus" with out the quotes.

Everything works but when I quit the game
and the return...I see...guess what...the_trooper...=(

Go to your cstrike\cfg\config.cfg file and make it "read only" after you edit your name.

I change the name,go to the file
config.cfg (the game is still running)
change it to read only quit the game
and when I come back...-.-'
