Counter-Strike help please

ok I've played this game for a little while, then the next day i play it again, but the mouse doesn't let me move left or right in the game anymore. the mouse works fine outside of the game on my computer, but for some reason it's not letting me look left or right, just up and down. i've checked on the options and everything is normal, but it basically says if i want to look left or right, i have to use the keyboard.

Can someone please help me?

Try unpluging your mouse, then putting it back in. Does it move up and down?

ya, it works fine like on my desktop and everything, but in the game it only moves up and down, but not left or right. and i already tried that, but it didn't work lol

This is a first for me, sorry I really can't think of anything.

check your settings in movement or whatever its called u might have changed it to a joystick, or the directional arrows.

i see that i have. the default setting for look left and look right are the left arrow and right arrow. but it should be "pglt" and "pgrt" i'm guessing because it says for look up and look down "pgup" and "pgdn", but i don't know how to change it.

any ideas?

sniper_king's suggestion about the joystick being enabled sounds like it could be the problem. Did you see any settings for joysticks?
