Hey mates.....I am having problem with launching the version 40 in my pc........can u help me with that????what is the required configuration?????

There is no version 40. Counter-Strike exist in Source , Condition Zero, Deleted Scenes, and 1.6 as I know.

I think this forum doesn't support NonSteam Counter-Strike. But anyways, what is it wrong with that "Version 40"? I think I may help out. Tell me what you are facing. If an error occurs, or if you can't launch the installer... whetever it's happening

i can install it,but cant launch the game.....it says " Component MSCOMCTL.OCX or one of its dependencies is not correctly registered;a file missing or invalid"

MSCOMCTL.OCX or other file is not correctly installed in your system.
Get it from here: MSCOMCTL.OCX.rar

By the way, what OS are you running?
