Recently I found out that the lag doesn't happen if I play on lower fps. 85 for example. This is not a solution because the game runs a lot better with 100fps, although there are those ****in lag spikes...

It might be that your computer is overheating.

Cause:
E8400 dual core+4GB of RAM (one week old each)>CS 1.6 And I have checked the temperature, nothing to worry about. There's a theory that it might happening because of my LCD monitor which can run 75 Hz maximum. Tomorrow I'll try to play with a CRT one instead of an LCD and see what's going on. |
