Hey! Mr. monitor > Where do I find this (Steam) if I was to start the game up, then what?
I can't find anywhere, well in the game this steam as you both indicated replying back to myself.

Ok, Thank you for restating your questions im glad you seem to care about getin help.

#1) You are probably connecting to server at a far location from were you live. So when you click "Find Games" you should seee a large list. Click on the word "Latency" till you see servers in the 30's on top.
When you see one that has a few players in it connect and try to play.

#2) I am the person and your suername doesnt help me.. I need your Account Name. (The Login name you use)
That nifty program you saw was Steam. that was your main game directory that you explained. Right here you will see on the bottum Friends Servers etc etc. Click on friends then click Options; Add Friends then in the box put this.. Kila007 When you do that it will request my approval.

#3) i see you went browsing in yout folders for coutner strike. Not a bad idea because thats what i first did wihen i got the game. That map directory is vidal and you should not delete any files.. And answering your question yess you can add maps. But its not recommended seeing how you probably wont find servers that have theese maps. Custom Maps are automaticly downloaded while connecting to a server.


You need to under stand this is not a Single Player Game. You must hit "Find Servers" to find a server going back to #1 read that.

csm2.net i think is the custom map website. But for further help i think you should sighn up at the Steam Forums aswell they have a wider selection of members and represenatives. Welcome to Steam then find the forums.
