binded consol

Hi,

i went in a server and an admin binded my consol so each time i press the key to open my consol i suicide


is there a way to fix it?

Yes there is. Would you like to know how to fix it?

The easy way is to find that game mods config.cfg file and edit it. You might want to copy the "code" to Word/Works or Wordpad if you used Notepad to open it so you can read it clearly. Then find the line "bind "~" kill". Then you can edit the "kill" part to whatever you want. Or delete the line. It might have been "console" or whatever the command for it was.

Make the .cfg read-only when you're done so that it does not happen again.

Well he needs to change the command line that allows servers to modify his files. Just making it read only means it doesn't save permanently. He would have to close the game and start again to renew the file settings.
