hey,i have cs 1.5 and if anyone needs help regarding how to install,half life, a cd key,bots patches or whatever, feel free to ask me.

Fireball, to install cs source,you need steam [steampowered.com] , and you need an account and a valid cd key to play. You can get cs source nosteam from a torrent, download utorrent and search it there.

You can download cs 1.5,you dont need to buy it. Before,you could buy cs 1.5 retail with half life [half life would be free] Heres the link if your interested.

First,you need half-life retail and have it installed . Second,you need to install hl update 1.1.1.0, and then cs 1.5. Do it in that order and it will work.

As for windows vista,it would matter. I have windows xp, and the performance is not the best. I always get compatability issues about half-life. The more higher versions you go,the more the quality of half-life decreases. Half-life and cs 1.5 best run on windows 2000.

To fix this,right click on your cs 1.5 or hl shortcut and click the compatabilty tab. Choose ''Run this program in compatabilty for'' and then click windows 2000 and click ok.
