Fast Download help needed

Hi,..I have come across a roadblock and have know clue how to instal fast downloads for my server. I have a web domain and everything im just not sure in teh steps. Is there anyone that can help for a fee set this up. Below is the instrustions im lost on. Thanks

At this location you need to create a directory structure to reflect what your counter-strike server directories and files look like (every file needed for the specific maps).

Place your maps at this location: http://yourdomain.com/cstrike/maps/
Any other files that are needed for the maps should be included in the respective directories as well.

Basically what you are doing here is creating a directory structure that is identical to your actual game server, except these directories will be located at a web address. You are then pointing your users to this location (by defining it in the server.cfg) to download maps. Many maps have sounds files, etc, so all of the related files must be put into the directories they are meant to be in. It is very important that you include the .res file with your map. This file tells the user what files they need to download (.bsp file, .wav file in /sounds, etc.)"

Step 1: You need to have web space firstly. We'll use mine as an example, I have "http://www.postalfrag.com". You'll need to create a folder on your web space called "cstrike" to mirror that on the server. So, now the URL I have to download from is "http://www.postalfrag.com/cstrike".


Step 2: Create the following folders in the "cstrike" folder you just recently created:
- maps
- sound


Step 3: Upload the maps/sounds you want into the appropriate folder on your web space. If you need another folder, like materials, then create it. Some will have a "graphs" folder inside the maps one, create that too. So now your stuff should look like ...

... /cstrike/maps/de_dust2.bsp
.../cstrike/maps/graphs/graph/fy_snow.ain
... /cstrike/sound/admin_plugin/wee.wav


Step 4: Open up your server.cfg and find the following lines, if they are not in there, add them:

sv_downloadurl "http://www.postalfrag.com/cstrike"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1


Step 5: Save, restart your server and it should be set. The best way to test it out is to download a map for yourself! I hope that helps!

Everyone who does this should consider bzip compressing everything. They are automatically decompressed on the client side and you save about 50% in bandwidth and time downloading.
