hi guys i have a problem with CZ and 1.6 and this is it.. when i join a server my ping is good and all but my game freezes and stuff kind of like LAG but it dosent do this in Counter-Strike:Source but in Condition Zero and Counter-Strike: 1.6 it does! how do i fix this problem?

Get a slower computer. I have the same thing happening here some times when I on my nicer computer. Doesn't do it when I'm on my slower computer. Same settings and everything so it doesn't make sense.

I think i got same problem, i didnt have it before thought, Maybe the last patch screwed it up.
Its kinda weird lagg, your aim freezes while you still move your mouse. I been playing cz for 3 years but since like one month ago it started. I thought it was my mods and stuff, so i completely removed the cz and other steam games like source and TF2. which run perfectly on high settings on my pc so its not hardware problem, but my friend got the same thing recently after upgrading his new graphic card. we both have ati cards i got hd3850 and he ati radeon x800pro. so maybe latest graphic card drivers dont go well with the game, i dunno.

So i think mr Bob might be right about needing a worse PC but the thing is I played fine before so my guess would be the last update in cz or ati ****ed up the game.

I got pentium 4 3gh
2gig RAM
ATI RADEON 3850HD Video card. (playing Bioshock on high)
using 19"wide
Have 500gig free space on hdd's.

I love cz and play it more than any other game, so for me not being able to play it is like losing a child :P
