Frozen Screen
ok so i have vista(HOLY HELL I HATE IT!!) 64bit and ive already reinstalled steam twice now and the problem still occurs: when i open up cz its stuck at the loading screen but when i hover over the options on the bottom left, u can hear the sounds it makes when...well when u hover over the options... i think its a problem with my resolution but wat do i no
 cuz i have my resolution at the highest- 1920 x 1080 for best definition so...any ideas would be much appreciated =) |

Steam + Vista = teh suk! If you OWN XP I recommend switching to that. If not and you have $125USD then buy it (Check Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com), if you're broke, well, I'm sorry. There isn't a lot you can do, Steam isn't going to help at all, and it isn't an operating system issue.

Ya, and there's no response from Steam on this issue as to a "fix" or update. I don't know why not as it would be more business for Valve, but I have a feeling they don't know why it does this.
