im using CS 1.6 on my system. Whenever i type the bind commands like for example: bind KP_INS "buy AK47"...it only opens the menu select whenever i press the key...need help with this and thanks

Code looks good to me. maybe you need the kp_ins in quotes. Is that the name for the key though? I thought it was just insert?

Well you can bind like this:

finally! got it... it works. thanks bob...i guess the quotes made the difference...now my problem is how do i get rid of this sticky keys? like when i'm firing and crouch it continues to fire even when i let go of mouse1. and sometimes when im strafing left and right...it goes far left or far right even though i've already let go of the left and right keys? How can i change this back to its normal state?

For the mouse one:

Strafing left - right takes milisecs to stop. It won't stop inmediately

thanks for that suggestion JMEMBER. But i think it's not the mouse that has the problem...cause the box u've mentioned is unchecked.

Tried another mouse? Mines used to get locked when pressed, so I bought a new one.
