amx server config, and nextmap

hi, i just purchased a server from gameservers.com. i have amxx mod installed on it. whenever i restart the server, it boots up with the correct settings in the server.cfg. however, when i change the map, you are able to join the server, but it has a default config running. in the normal server.cfg there is low grav and a different amount of starting money.

also, when there is a minute left, a menu comes up to every user asking what map they would like to vote for, for the next map. can someone tell me how to disable this? ive messing around with some of the .ini files in cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins but i am not able to get it to work. there are only 3 maps in my map list, so it is a bit annoying to have those 3 choices between the 5 possible choices. i just want this off. i am using the mapcycle.txt and not the map list that amxx provides. does this make a difference? PLEASE get back to me.

Did they make you install this or did you have GS.com install the mod?

The mod may have a few cfg files for each map. Check the cfg as well as the addons folders for these. You can keep them or rename them. Also make sure you have the mod to load the variables from the server.cfg file.

For the votes the config should be in the amx config files under voting.

Game servers did install the mod for me. What is the mod that loads the variables from the server.cfg file?

You can run it thru the autoexec.cfg but the server.cfg file will always load with out doing that. Did they install MetaMod?
