how do i add plugins?! i have been told by some friends that u have to complie the .sma file, how do i get teh complier or whatever? any help... please!! i want the plugin where u can change it to CAL MODE, also the descriptive grenade plugin, and the one where when u join it says ex. REAPER has joined the game! rank: 1 or something...... bots would be nice too:P but any help would be wonderful!

I do not know, I have never compiled a mod before. Have you checked the Steam forums?

Well I would ask there as well.

Some of what you ask seems to be in the game already. CS:S has bots built in, 1.6 requires an addon which is easy, Podbot works well.

Mani Admin for CS:S has ranks and if you get Mattie Mod as well you can have a script made to do the rank joining thing. I don't know how or who to ask for 1.6, but the admin tools are AdminMod and AMX Mods.

All these mods have extensive install instructions and there are plenty of install tutorials here, fpsbanana.com, or the Steam boards.

We can help more if we know what game mod you want to work with.

thanks Mr.Bob but actually i got it working last night! found out that renaming the file to .amxx can compile it >_> lol , thanks anyway
