Hello to everyone,
Going through all these threads i found that people are having great trouble becoming an ADMIN and I do not blame you I remember I had the same trouble and i couldnt find any good instructions to guide me through it. Well I will give you simple and easy instructions to becoming an ADMIN Follow these simple steps: 1. You have to have ADMINMOD installed on your computer. 2. Go to your cstrike/addons/adminmod/config/users.ini 3. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and insert this at the bottom of the page on a separate line: NAME:PASSWORD:81919 4. Ok now you need to change the setting of the line above. Where it says NAME type in your name that you use in the game for example if you are bob put in bob. In the password line put whatever password that you want, although it is better to put a one word password. 5. Ok now what you need to do is save the users.ini file that you modified. 6. Restart your server. 7. Enter your server and when you enter your server open the console. [To open the console please press the ~ mark. 8. Type this in the console box: admin_login password 9. Where it says password its the password you put in your users.ini file. 10. Press enter and your set to go. Hope that helped anyone and everyone that read this thread. |

everytime i post something later on i find the answer, now i found why the errors were coming up, I didnt even have ADMINMOD downloaded. But now I did.
I found the files you were talking about, I think i didnt it correctly, i just went to the bottom where there was empty space and inserted what you posted, but then i went to the server and typed in Admin_login (putting password here) and it STILL comes up unknown command this is getting rediculous.. .. I dont understand what I'm doing wrong Any ideas? ![]() |
