I had the same problem, not with Excel, but with it not showing up. The Support guy(s) for these servers are awesome and said I had to trim it down, that the character limit was too high for it to be displayed in CS:S.

So, just trim back on what you wrote and try again, and if still not then, trim some more. It'll work, just have to cut back on the amount of "Messages".
