Default Re: controlling recoil???

Before you go working on your recoil, make sure your mouse sensitivity is perfect for you. If you have a mouse with dpi switching, make sure it's set to the highest. Your windows mouse sensitivity should be at default.

Despite people trying to give advice when it comes to controlling recoil, I had to learn for myself. The last thing you need when you're trying to cap somebody is thinking " zomg ok, so I have to like, aim at his chest.. fire 2 shots, wait... ". That's a waste of brain power, especially when you're trying to kill multiple enemies.

What I do is, if my first few bursts fail, and I'm pinned down and need to spray ( I only use the AK, I'd rather deagle than M4 ), I'll take my first few shots of the spray and aim at their chest, and after maybe 5 shots, I pull it down toward the legs ( depending on distance, sometimes I pull below their feet ) and slowly move my mouse to the left and right. People call me a randy, cause it almost always works for me.

Anyway, everyone has different styles. My advice would be to learn for yourself, get a feel for it.

How long have you been playing? We all suck when we first start out, we all have a hard time adjusting to the learning curve, and more experienced players killing you left and right can definitely be discouraging. Try playing on aim_ag_texture2, or other aim_ag maps, they work pretty well for honing precision, and the spray control should eventually follow.

After a while, it'll hit you, like an epiphany, and you'll eventually learn to master it, and it will be second nature.

Hope that made sense!

random tip- work on timing shots when you strafe, and only use bursts.
